Managing the Email Quarantine for a Shared Mailbox
The Barracuda email filter has a password-less login process for shared mailboxes that will allow you to manage the quarantine. You must ignore the login option in the quarantine email you received. Instead, do the following:
- Go to Barracuda Email Filter and enter the email address for the mailbox in question (i.e. sharedmailbox@pearlmangrp.com).
- Press Next
- On the following screen, choose the option to Email a temporary passcode.

The system will send an email with a code to the shared mailbox in question. You must go into that mailbox in Outlook to collect the code.
- Enter the code you received in the prompt that appears in your browser and it will log you into the quarantine management system for that mailbox.
Once you are logged in, you can choose to deliver the messages you need and add those senders to the safe/allowed list, so they are not blocked again.
